Last night was a celebration of the long awaited job of T-bone & E's dreams. We went to their favorite steak house, Puffy's, in Maple Hill, Kansas. As we were sitting there eating great food and having lively conversation I realized how much I am going to miss these two. It's amazing how many memories we have shared over the years. I'm even getting a little sentimental just writing this. I'll miss Tuesday lunches, heart conversation, BBQ's together, playing games, cutting down Christmas trees, laughter, and just enjoying one another's company. I feel blessed to have such wonderful friends. I so excited for them, but will miss them being nearby.

I always carry my little digital camera with me just in case I see something memorable or have an artistic inkling. I was telling b-wat the other day that I wanted to take more photos of just normal things in my daily life that capture my attention. I've dabbled in photography before, it has just been awhile since I've given attention to it. So here is an image that I caught on Sunday. It reminds me of simplicity and playfulness that children experience. I'd love to have that right now.

Places I've gone

I love to travel. Doing this map of states/countries visited thingy made me travel hungry. I'm ready for an adventure. Until then, I'll remember all the wonderful things I've experienced in all these places.

Across the globe....13 countries visited, lots more to go. Germany doesn't really count because I never left the airport.
